Mobilize the Immigrant Vote (MIV) convenes multiracial, intergenerational alliances to build the voting power of low income immigrants, refugees, and young people of color across California, so together we can make change and improve living conditions. Our core organizing principles are culture, racial justice, and gender justice. We build the capacity of community-based partner organizations to educate and mobilize their constituents to vote; we link these efforts with ongoing community organizing; we develop models for collaboration; and we deliver electoral and policy wins. In 2017, we contacted 85,000 immigrants, refugees, and young voters of color in 13 languages, and we will scale to 150,000 in 2018 and 200,000 by 2020. Mobilize the Immigrant Vote is a 501(c)3 nonpartisan charitable organization and is affiliated with the MIV Action Fund, a 501(c)4. We foster a collaborative working environment that values high-quality work.

2 Regional Field Leads (Northern California and Southern California)

Each Regional Field Lead (RFL) is responsible for propelling our networks' civic engagement campaigns and electoral movement building work, in Northern California and Southern California, respectively. Working in collaboration with the Chief Political Strategist, this position's direct supervisor, the RFL develops and manages implementation of the civic engagement campaigns, capacity building and regional power building. Each position manages the relationships, logistical, scheduling and administrative workflow between our organization and partner organizations. The RFL also works closely with communications and cultural strategy staff to weave these strategies into program work. The ideal candidate will be passionate about capacity-building training and field campaign coordination for grassroots groups to make bigger and bolder electoral impact as we secure a California that values all our communities.
